Community standards
Last updated August 2026
Afterset is a place to record and compare live-music experiences honestly. These standards apply to everyone who contributes — ratings, reviews, profiles, and reports.
Be honest about what you saw
Log sets you actually attended. Do not fabricate attendance or ratings. Do not rate a set you only heard about second-hand. An unrated log is a valid log; a false one is not.
Rate the performance, not the person
Reviews and ratings are about the set — the artist's performance on that night, in that room. Personal attacks, harassment, and discriminatory language are not permitted.
Respect privacy
Do not share other people's private information without consent. Do not attempt to identify minors on public pages. Do not use attendance data to harass, stalk, or coerce anyone.
No spam or manipulation
Do not create multiple accounts to inflate ratings. Do not coordinate brigading of artist or set scores. Do not use Afterset for commercial promotion without permission.
Report problems
If you see content that violates these standards — harassment, false information, spam, or anything that makes you feel unsafe — use the report function on the relevant page or contact us at support@afterset.app.
Enforcement
We review reports and may remove content, restrict accounts, or ban repeat offenders. Serious violations — threats, illegal content, or sustained harassment — may be referred to law enforcement. We aim to act promptly and explain our decisions where we can.
Minors
Afterset is for people aged 13 and over. Accounts for under-13s are not permitted. Minors receive high privacy defaults: private profiles, no public indexing, and no identity-level co-presence. See our Privacy policy for details.
